Dungeon Foray is a first-person action dungeon crawler built from scratch in C++14 on top of Raylib, with no dependencies beyond the library itself. Runs are short and fast: the player descends through procedurally generated floors of a shifting maze, fighting with melee weapons, thrown weapons, blocking, and magic. Combat is built around a dual-hand loadout — swords, axes, daggers, staves and shields can each be cycled independently into either hand, so the right hand might hold a blade while the left keeps a shield up or channels a spell. Enemy types vary in behavior rather than just numbers, mixing melee, ranged, and blocking opponents driven by GPU-skinned skeletal animation. Each floor is opened up by clearing its threats, and dynamic floor events — bounties, hunts, defense objectives, and seals — change what a descent asks of the player. Between fights, vendors turn collected resources into decisions: sharpen weapons, invest in a school of magic, spend stat points, or build around new traits before going deeper. The game is packaged as a Windows build and distributed on itch.io.
